DESCRIPCIÓN
The Insulation Station is the 6th step on the Mecal HSD (High Speed Data) cable production line. It is made up of a pin centring unit for connector insertion and of a rotating system to bend already crimped terminals 90°. The process is controlled by two optical fibres that ensure correct pin positioning by reading cable colours. The station is equipped with a fixed guard that houses a mobile part that protects the working area during the machine cycle.
